Any member may form or join a committee. The Chapter encourages imagination in deciding the name of the committee and the project(s). If you have an interest, please indicate it in the Chapter's guest book.
Internet Committee
The member's assistance could be either active or passive. For example, active members would help implement suggestions that relates the use of the Internet for Chapter activities. Passive members would, for example, agree to receive e-mail to test an idea and report any glitches.
Program Committee
Committee members help the Program Co-Chairs decide the topics and presenters at the monthly Chapter meetings. Activities can also include the targeting of special audiences.
Membership Committee
These members assist the Membership Chair in the recruitment of members and the issuing of reminders to current members to renew.
Activities can relate to the Internet. Examples include: (1) maintaining the Chapter's e-mail address book and (2) entering and sorting of the membership lists for matching of the messages to the various audiences.
Publicity Committee
Committee members assist the Publicity Chair and Assistant Publicity Chair. Activities can include matching the information to various audiences -- rather than one message to all.
Video Sharehouse Committee
This very new committee needs volunteers. Members discuss how to incorporate and manage video clips on the web. For instance, should the Chapter link video clips to some presentations? -- as a follow-up, if feasible.
Other Committees
We are open to ideas, traditional and otherwise, of other committees that the Chapter might create.
